As you may be aware, Presbytery of Sydney recently undertook review of its structures and operations. The review is now complete. The review’s suggested changes will potentially impact on every congregation within the bounds of the Presbytery of Sydney. As such we are seeking to make the review widely available.
As the full review is 89 pages long, Presbytery Standing Committee has prepared a summary document for the benefit of Congregations. Some small operational changes the review suggested have already been implemented. Larger changes will be tabled and voted on at the next several presbytery meetings. The Standing Committee will be guiding this process.
We encourage everyone on your church council to read the summary document which sets out the key changes suggested to the structure of Sydney Presbytery.
