The Kogarah Storehouse is an outreach project of Brighton-Kogarah Uniting Church and has been in operation since 1992. The vision is simple: To be a haven of hope and practical help to people in need in our community.

The life-changing initiative has five core areas of service and aims to empower and resource the people and families that come through its doors towards independence and self-sufficiency.

The areas of service include:

  1. Help for unexpected power bill expenses and provision of emergency food.
  2. Case management and referral to specialised services.
  3. Social groups to encourage interaction with others and build friendships.
  4. Hosting community groups which offer specialised help and interaction for people in our community who require assistance.
  5. Life empowerment courses and support groups.

The Kogarah Storehouse is in need of your financial support. If you or your congregation can help by way of a one-off or regular donation, please visit: http://www.kogarahstorehouse.org.au/donate
