Rev Niall Reid, NSW.ACT Moderator, will conduct a Grace Workshop on Saturday 20 March at Mustard Seed Uniting Church, Ultimo, 97 Quarry Street, Ultimo. The Workshop will run from 9.30am-1.00pm.
The Grace Workshops are designed to encourge people to reflect deeply on what Mr Reid believes to be the heart of the Gospel and that is Grace. We talk about grace, we sing about grace, we depend on God’s grace, but do we ever really address grace in our own lives, in the way we behave, in the way we operate as a church? Does grace provide the foundation of our Christian life and witness, is it really what motivates our lives? Do we really believe Grace or do we pay lip-service to it? Is grace about salvation on the cheap or is it about the toughest way of being? The Grace Workshop will provide the opportunity to face these questions and begin to see how we might put grace into action providing both the foundation and the resource for an authentic Christ-like church life and witness.
